Me and my wife went and saw Avatar in 3D last night, and I really have to admit that I love how close the CG is coming to looking like real life. The amount of detail used with all the lighting effects was fucking amazing. And then throw in the fact that it’s in 3D… wow… I love 3D movies. They really used the 3D to its full extent, and in ways that blew my mind. In one scene there was a fire burning sending ash into the air, and it looked like snowflakes, with perfect depth and feel… that blew my mind. All movies should be in 3D, it just brings you that much more into the movie.

Now I have a lot of predictions for the future of gaming and movies… and they’re all going to blow us out whatever water were in. But I like the way everything is going… It’s in a direction that brings the audience more into and interactive with whatever media there throwing at us. Very cool Hollywood… it’s about fucking time you utilized technology.

“I would ride a unicorn to wonderful world of OZ, only to do battle with the wicked witch of the west. And once I smote her remains on her castle grounds, I would then fly my unicorn back to Dorothy’s, and get it on… farmer style.”
